Risks of Repair or Service or Diagnosis

Computers and Laptops devices repairing, servicing, diagnosis, hardware-upgradation, hardware replacement software & windows re-installation can be very complicated. As with anything complicated, things can sometimes go wrong. No matter how much care CP Computer Service Centre take when they are fixing or diagnosis or servicing your device, there is always a chance that something unexpected can happen resulting in the loss of data/files/software or damage to hardware. This is especially true if your device is in a precarious state to begin with before the repair or service.

Although CP Computer Service Centre will take all reasonable effort to avoid any data, file loss or hardware damage, CP Computer Service Centre do not take any responsibility for any loss or consequential loss which may arise out of damage, destruction, or loss of any data/files or hardware while undertaking a repair or service.

Microsoft Windows Re-Install.

Microsoft Windows Re-Installation requires all the data/files and software on your computer or laptop to be deleted. We highly advise that you perform your own backup before we attempt to re-install Microsoft Windows, as we cannot be held liable for any data, file, or software loss.

On customer request, we will be able to attempt a backup of your files (pictures, documents, music and videos) and then restore these after Microsoft Windows re-installation. In order to back up your files, we will strongly advise using a backup device provided by the customer (such as external hard disk drive, Flash drive etc.). We will also need to be informed by the client of the location of files that need to be backed up. Please be aware that software that has been installed on Microsoft Windows cannot be backed up, and will require a reinstallation using original software installation media. Customer must have the valid product /registration key of Microsoft Windows and softwares need to be installed.

During the Microsoft Windows re-installation there is always a chance that hardwares such as Ram or HDD/SDD or Motherboard or processor may be found faulty. In that case we cannot be held liable for the same.

As with all our services we highly recommend that you take your data backup prior to handing over for repair or service. Data backup will remain the client’s sole responsibility. During the repair or service, we cannot be held liable for any loss of data file information etc., however we will try out very best to limit the risk of any data loss while performing a service or repair.

Warranty and Guarantee Claim

Part or product or accessories used for computer repairing or upgradation, Warranty/Guarantee will be claimed from the company service center or the dealer by the user/customer only and the product/part/accessories Warranty/Guarantee will be under the company terms and conditions.
Note: CP Computer Service Centre always uses genuine,original and good quality product/part/accessories for computer repairing and upgradation.

Diagnosis Fee

Diagnose fee applies to the service requested by the client. It is payable even if we determine that laptop/ computer is not faulty or the fault is not repairable or the customer decide not to proceed with repair.

Job Cancellation

Cancellation of confirmed job requests will be accepted by telephone or what’s app or text message.

Cancellation of confirmed job requests submitted before or earlier than 2 hours will be accepted. In this case, no charge will be imposed.
Cancellation of confirmed job requests submitted less than 2 hours or at the time of attending the call will not be accepted. In this case, service charges will be imposed.
